Interpol Issues Global Alert Against Qaddafi

(RFE/RL) — The international police organization Interpol has issued a global alert against Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi and 15 other Libyans.

The list includes members of Qaddafi’s family and close associates.

It calls on Interpol’s member nations to help enforce United Nations sanctions against Libya and to assist an International Criminal Court (ICC) investigation into allegations Qaddafi’s government may have committed crimes against humanity during the recent uprising against his regime.
