Pakistan: Some 22 Killed In US Missile Strike
By KUNA
More than 22 people were killed in a fresh US missile strike in North Waziristan tribal agency of Pakistan on Wednesday, said security officials.
At least five missiles were fired at a militant compound in a village of Shawal district.
Officials told KUNA that the militants were holding a jirga at the time of the strike.
They said more than 22 suspected militants were killed and over five others were wounded.
The strike took place days after over 20 militants were killed in two strikes in the neighboring South Waziristan agency.
