Georgian Orthodox Church Delegation Visits Brussels

(Civil.Ge) — The delegation of the Georgian Orthodox Church is visiting Brussels on November 7-11.

The nine-member delegation has already been hosted by NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, James Appathurai.

“A very warm meeting was held here, where we received comprehensive information about NATO-Georgia relations,” a senior Orthodox cleric, Metropolitan Theodore of Akhaltsikhe told reporters in the NATO Headquarters.

The Georgian church delegation is accompanied by the representatives of the Office of the State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, the Center for Development and Democracy (CDD) and the Information Center on NATO and EU.
