Eni has signed a tripartite agreement with Korea Gas Corporation and Chubu Electric Power Company for the sale of 28 cargoes of LNG (or 1,7 Mton of LNG) over the period 2013-2017.
Under this agreement, which is the first joint purchase contract between Japan and South Korea, Eni will source the cargoes from its global LNG portfolio and ship them either to South Korea or Japan according to the two clients’ allocation needs, increasing the flexibility and security of supply of their respective sourcing portfolios.
The agreement, which follows the one signed last year for the sale of 49 cargoes of LNG (equivalent to 3,3 Mton of LNG) to the Japanese market, will strengthen Eni’s presence in the Far East LNG market.
The Eurasia Review team publishes news and analysis on world events with an approach that focuses on how that news affects Eurasia and Afro-Eurasia. In a nutshell, we publish the “Eurasia view” of the world.
Despite the combined Eurasia and Afro-Asia areas containing over 70% of the world’s population, news continues to be dominated by a U.S. slant, and that is where Eurasia Review - an independent news outlet based in Madrid, Spain – enters the picture by providing a different perspective on current events. Eurasia Review readers will find content that has distinct and varied points-of-view — something that we believe allows readers to then make informed decisions
The Eurasia Review approach is to seek to present all sides to an issue, with an emphasis on analysis and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) materials.
In addition, Eurasia Review publishes content from its ever growing network of partners, which includes analysts, think tanks, academic institutions, journalists, authors and bloggers.
