Iran: Revolutionary Guard Member Calls For Attack On Saudi Arabia

By

Mustafa Mlkotien professor of political science at Tehran University and a senior member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, has called the Iranian intelligence to train Shi’ite cells in Bahrain to carry out sabotage with explosives in Saudi Arabia in to punish the kingdom for what he called military intervention in Bahrain.

Quoted by «Rjauz» website which is close to President Ahmadinejad, Mlkotien said that Iran should apply the experience of the Lebanese Hizbullah in Bahrain through the training of cells in order to form a resistance aimed at what he called the military presence of Saudi Arabia in Bahrain. According to him, this method will be the most successful.

Mlkotien added: “Iran does not intend to interfere in the domestic affairs of any state, but rather seeks to help the Bahraini people. Thus, we must train the rebels in Bahrain on how to make rockets to target vital areas in Saudi Arabia.”

This comes as the Gulf Cooperation Council states on Tuesday held a summit in the Saudi capital Riyadh to discuss the tensions in the region, led by Iranian interference in the affairs of the GCC countries.

For his part, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, said his country wants to resolve the problems with Iran through dialogue, adding that he is trying as much as possible to reach out to “our brothers in Iran,” because that is in Iran’s favor.
