Iraqi Airstrike Hits Hospital, Kills 22 Women And Children
Iraqi government airstrikes have destroyed a women and children’s hospital in the Daesh-held territory near the city of Fallujah, killing at least 22 women and children, a senior official told the Associated Press on Friday.
The Anbar provincial council said the air raids were targeting Daesh militants in the village of Nassaf, two kilometers south of Fallujah, when they hit the hospital.
Iraqi Defense Ministry spokesman Yahya Rasool denied the claim. He said Iraqi troops do not target hospitals, according to the AP.
