Lundin Norway Awarded Four Exploration Licenses In Norway

Lundin Petroleum AB (Lundin Petroleum) said Tuesday that its wholly owned subsidiary Lundin Norway AS (Lundin Norway) has been awarded four exploration license interests in the 2016 Norwegian Licensing Round (Awards in Predefined Areas, APA).

Lundin Petroleum is a Swedish independent oil and gas exploration and production company.

The awarded licenses include one license in the North Sea, two licenses in the Norwegian Sea and one license in the southern Barents Sea. Two of the awarded licenses will be operated by Lundin Norway.

PL902* (Blocks 7120/1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6):        50% – Southern Barents Sea
