Judge Rauf Rashid, the man who sentenced Saddam Hussein to death, has reportedly been captured and killed by ISIS terrorists.

Several Arab News websites are reporting the news.

Al-Mesyroon reported (translated), there were reports of the execution of Iraqi judge, Raouf Abdel-Rahman, who sentenced Iraqi President Saddam Hussein to death, according to confirmed the pages on the social networking site, without official confirmation from the Iraqi government.

  1. The facts of the matter are as was the case in Libya is that these regimes will fall and there will be power struggles. In Libya the sons were jostling for who had more credibility to rule. So you had the boy sending ships to Gaza to show his credibility forcing Israel to negotiate aid shipments. In Iraq as we had produced analysis both Saddams sons would have killed each other to take power or have killed him at some stage. The FBI confirmed he was worried his sons would try to kill him. No situation is the same, but if Saddam has his time again, as with Assad I am sure he would have let UNSCOM back in. People only talk up the failures, George Bush’s greatest success was getting Burma away from their WMD program. You don’t hear anything about.
