Russia Accuses US, Allies Of ‘War Crimes’ In Iraq

By

The Russian defence ministry on Saturday, October 22 accused the U.S.-led coalition fighting jihadists in Iraq of committing war crimes, a day after an air raid killed 15 women at a shrine near the city of Kirkuk, AFP reports.

“We have observed several times that these deadly strikes… which have all the hallmarks of war crimes, have practically become a daily routine by the international coalition’s warplanes,” ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said in a statement.

The strike on the funeral may well have been with intent the same way that the strike on civilian buildings in Manbij that killed some 150 women and children was intentional. It makes the population more miserable, which then justifies more drastic and destructive interventions. Don’t forget that the goal of the US in Iraq is to partition Iran into three small countries. That will not be possible if the US fights IsIs in a genuine way. Hence to summon civilian misery and suffering will justify lateran more drastic measures presumably to help the civilians. The US tried the same system in Syria – hence the howls for war crimes and crimes against humanity against Russia and the Syrian army but not against the terrorist – in hope that it would lead to a RtP resolution in the UNSC to prevent the liberation of Aleppo from al Nusra rebels et al.
