Romney Secures Republican Presidential Nomination

By

Mitt Romney has won the Texas primary and now has enough votes to secure the Republican nomination and run against President Barack Obama in the November 6th presidential election in the United States.

According to the media, Romney has been the most promising GOP candidate since the primaries got under way in January this year.

Mitt Romney will be officially nominated the GOP presidential candidate during the Republican Party congress in Florida in August.

Although the race has been essentially over for weeks, Romney finally cleared the benchmark of 1,144 delegates needed to become the Republicans’ presidential candidate after a long, bitter primary battle with a host of conservative rivals.

He will be formally nominated at the Republicans’ convention in Florida in late August.
