By

(Civil.Ge) — Georgia’s President Saakashvili will submit to Parliament for approval reshuffled cabinet, led by Vano Merabishvili, on Tuesday, instead of initially announced Monday, Rustavi 2 TV reported late on July 1.

Saakashvili announced about his decision to appoint powerful Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili as new PM on Saturday, replacing Nika Gilauri, which automatically led to resignation of the entire cabinet.

Saakashvili also announced about intention to introduce a new post in the government – the state minister for employment.

It is not yet clear who will replace Merabishvili as Interior Minister and who will hold new post of state minister; it is also not yet known whether the reshuffle will affect other government ministers or not.
