Chavez Returns To Venezuela

(RFE/RL)– Venezuelan state media has reported that President Hugo Chavez returned to the country after receiving cancer treatment in Cuba.
The 56-year-old leader’s return home comes just one day before Venezuela celebrates its 200th anniversary of independence from Spain.
Earlier on July 4 former Cuban leader Fidel Castro published comments on the health of his leftist ally, predicting that Chavez’s “impressive” treatment results indicated a victory against the disease.
