Syria: At Least 25 Killed In Damascus Blast
Syria on Friday blamed a “terrorist suicide bomber” for a blast which targeted a bus full of police in central Damascus.
Syria’s state TV reported the blast in the central Damascus neighborhood of Midan killed at least 25 people and injured more than 50 others.
Friday’s blast comes exactly two weeks after two blasts in Damascus targeting security buildings killed 44 people.
On its part, the Syrian Revolution Coordinating Committees – an umbrella organization representing opposition groups – said the Syrian regime was behind the attack in Midan.
