People Must Be Leery Of Strengthening Terrorists Within Own Governments In Fight Against Terrorism – OpEd

By

While it is tempting to get carried away in the outrage and emotionalism brought on by the recent terrorist attacks in the United Kingdom, France and other parts of Europe, the People must also be cautious about inadvertently strengthening the countless bad apples within their respective governments in their intelligence agencies, law enforcement, and governments by giving them even more legal power to terrorize their own citizens with impunity.

Although the vast majority of federal and state law enforcement can safely be declared to be decent, hard working, honorable men and women keeping law and order within their respective nations, the fact remains that there are also an awful lot of bad, indecent, cruel, power hungry, greedy, violent, dishonest, and criminal elements also within their ranks.

In fact the vast majority of criminal and terrorist acts committed against the citizenry is without a doubt, emanating from those bad apple within federal and state law enforcement, armed fully with the color and power of the law, hiding and obfuscating their evil acts under the banner of the badge.

The ratio of criminal and terrorist acts committed against the population by federal and state law enforcement, to radical Islamic or other types of politically based terrorists, is approximately 1,000,000 to 1.

So to ignore that basic statistic is extremely dangerous, given the fact that the Mainstream Media and even the world’s population (including undersigned author) are up in arms lately about the back to back recent terrorist acts having occurred in the United Kingdom, France and the rest of Europe, demanding that their countries’ law enforcement, intelligence services, and governments begin to immediately stamp out all vestiges of international and domestic Islamic and other types of politically based organized terrorism.

However, the United States has seen an unprecedented level of illegal surveillance, fabricated terror attacks by federal and state law enforcement, eradication of the bill of rights and human civil liberties, a literal police state having been formed since the mid 1940s, but picking up steam and solidifying openly after the attacks of September 11, 2001, and at this point, things could not get much worse with regards to the overall undermining of the United States Constitution, not by international Islamic terrorists, but by the prostitutes in government within the Legislative, Executive, and Judiciary branches of the U.S. Government.

So while it is tempting to demand safety for increased security, one must also be eternally cognizant and vigilant that we also vet, closely scrutinize, and supervise those members of the intelligence community, federal and state law enforcement, and various members of the military industrial complex and national security state, in order to ensure that although we are now about to give them even greater powers and latitude to “protect us” from terrorism, that we do not also accidentally allow those bad apples within those respective agencies to enable them to even better gang-stalk, harass, surveillance, provoke, set up, frame, and target us as citizens, even worse than they are doing now.
