Hamas’ Military Wing Executes One Of Its Militants

Hamas’ military wing, the Izziddin al-Qassam Brigades, said on Sunday that the group executed one of its members for what the group called in a statement “misconduct and immoral behavior.”

“We announce that a member of al-Qassam Brigades Mahmoud Rushdi Shteiwi was executed at 4 p.m. upon a decision by the Hamas’ military and Sharia courts,” the group said.

The statement explained that the man who was executed admitted in court that he was involved in “behavioral and moral misconducts,” without providing further details.
