Fifty passengers rescued from Iran Air plane crash


Fifty people were rescued alive from a plane that crashed in northwest of Iran on Sunday, Al-Alam satellite channel reported.

It quoted an official in the emergency authority as saying that rescue teams recovered 50 people out of the 105 passengers on board.

He said the Iran Air aircraft was on a domestic flight from Tehran from the northwestern city of Orumiyeh.
