Pakistani court orders arrest warrants of Musharraf

An anti-terrorism court of Pakistan on Saturday issued arrest warrants of former President Pervez Musharraf in the murder case of the country’s first and only female Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has issued arrest warrants of former President Pervez Musharraf in Benazir Bhutto murder case. Benazir Bhutto was killed in a gun-and-suicide attack in December 2007 during the tenure of Musharraf as the President and military chief of Pakistan.

According to reports, at least twelve charges have been leveled against Musharraf in the challan, being submitted by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the ATC.
