Ditmir Bushati: Edi Rama’s Minister Of Entertainment – OpEd

By

Hardly a day goes by without observing the oppression of Edi Rama’s government against its own people and the use of public office to the benefit of close family members who take monthly expensive vacations in Europe and Middle East paid by Albanian tax payers.

As Albanian enforcement officers flex their muscles with the poor ambulatory vendors who barely make two dollars a day, Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati continues with his two and half years old international campaign that is openly against the growing positive political image that Mr. Ilir Meta has acquired internationally, as the current Speaker of Albanian National Assembly. [1]

Moreover Mr. Bushati keeps – at the expense of Albania’s tax papers – in his entourage at least four luxurious cars, while taking numerous vacations throughout Albania and abroad with his family members who have visited Italy, Spain, by using public money and expensive vehicles such as the Mercedes Benz (plate number CC029) at the Albanian Consulate in Bari, Italy, that has recently been used for pleasure by Mr. Bushati’s family members.

No wonder why Albania’s Foreign Policy has failed to improve Tirana’s image abroad. Indeed, that has never been a priority for the son of a loyal high ranking Albanian communist leader.

Mr. Bushati will be remembered as one of the worse Ministers that Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has ever had. Everyone who reads the daily publications nationally and internationally can clearly observe that Mr. Bushati has suddenly changed his roles, from being Albania’s top Diplomat to Albania’s top vacations’ chief.

Bushati is well known for his arrogant behavior with his subordinates and foreign diplomats accredited in Albania as well as for his alleged involvement in money laundering schemes that involve other Albanian MPs and his immediate family members. In addition to illegally ripping the fruits of public office, Albanian Foreign Minister continues to be a loyal sucker of George Soros’ tits.

On November 5th, 2015, Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati held official meetings with Mauro Vieira, Brazilian Minister of Foreign Affairs and with the President of the Chamber of Deputies Cosentino Eduardo da Cunha. Along with him he was accompanied by a large group of ‘staffers’ who had absolutely nothing to do with the official visit – let alone with Albania’s Foreign Policy Interest – they had joined Mr. Bushati for pleasure and ‘just to have some fun” and always at the Albanian tax payers’ expense. [2]

In his meeting with Mr. da Cunha, Ditmir Bushati – instead of discussing the agenda items set forth by his predecessor, he continued with his previously set discourse that was focused on ruining the international image of Mr. Meta, ordered by his boss sitting in Tirana.

According to reliable sources from Buenos Aires, it must be emphasized that Mr. Bushati, on November 3, 2015, had refused to carry in his suitcase a letter of invitation issued by Mr. Amado Boudou (President of the Argentinean Senate) that was directed to Mr. Ilir Meta, inviting the Speaker of Albanian Parliament to visit Argentina in early 2016. [3]

During his stay in Buenos Aires, it is believed that Mr. Bushati had a working lunch with Mr. Juan Ángel Napout, former president of CONMEBOL, who is currently indicted and facing Corruption and money laundering charges from the US Department of Justice. Until today, it remains mysterious the topic of discussion between Albanian Chief Diplomat and the former leader of CONMEBOL. [4]

On September 2015, Mr. Bushati had a secret meeting with Former EU Commission for Enlargement Štefan Füle, with whom he discussed the so-called involvement of Mr. Meta in the CEZ corruption scandal, a private company that was given by a concession the administraiton of Electrical Energy throughout Albania. Once again, Tirana’s diplomatic chief has set aside the strategic roadmap of his country’s Foreign Policy and his daily task remains focused on how to ruin the image of Socialist Movement of Integration, a political party that is led by Mr. Meta who is becoming ever more popular. [5]

It is obvious that Mr. Bushati’s next move will be an ambasadorial reward position for several servants of his own appetite as a payoff for the services provided to Mr. Bushati’s family while vacationing in Italy and other metropolitan European capitals.

Best description ever of the corrupted and uncapable Minsiter of Foreign Affairs. Anyway, this is not the only example of this government. Just to mention, Health, Finance, Interior Affairs, Energy, etc … This is the Soros Government that has tumored this country, at the same level of the over-corrupted Berisha one. But this seems to be our destiny …

A really good article! But you need to know that Mr. Bushati is just a small piece of the whole `mosaic`. Edi Rama is the most corrupted and arrogant prime minister that ever governed Albania after communism system. He doesn`t care for anyone because he thinks that he is god on earth. He has built a castle in Surrel-Tirana without giving any clear explanation where did he take the money. The costumes and watches he wears that costs a lot of money etc, etc

Looks like a bunch of ‘demokrate’ have congregated here lamenting over their past exploits. This government is doing something to better Albania but of course we will have our ‘demokrate’ who will surely try to sabotage any progress and then call the government a failure. We also have these pseudo-intellectuals like Tase who fail at spelling or forming a coherent sentence. As the old saying goes, the dog barks but the caravan goes on.
