Gunman Who Killed 27 In U.S. School Shot His Own Parents


27 people, including 18 children, were killed when a gunman burst into an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. At least three people were wounded in the incident.

According to some reports, the shooter was Ryan Lanza. Other reports say the shooter was a brother, Adam Lanza.

Among those killed was his mother, who worked at the school. Before leaving home Lanza shot his father, as well.

The shooter himself was gunned down by the police arriving on the scene.

Reports say the attacker was armed with two guns.

All schools and daycare centers of the city are closed.
