Islamic State Threatens To Attack Washington, Rome In Video
Islamic State released a new video Monday threatening Washington and other countries participating in airstrikes against the group with further attacks similar to Paris, Reuters reported.
“We say to countries participating in the international collation against the Islamic state: your day is coming just like France, we attacked them in the heart of their capital, we swear to God that we will attack Washington in its heart,” a man featured in the video said.
“We say to all of Europe that we are coming and you can’t stop us, we are much stronger than before. This is a promise. We will open Rome then we will establish the caliphate on European lands,” he continued.
The footage, released on YouTube has yet to be verified.
