Syria Investigates Dar’a Unrest

The Syrian interior ministry Saturday formed a committee to investigate unrest that took place in Province of Dar’a yesterday, and said those who carried out sabotage acts and riots would be punished.

A number of people were killed in what the Syrian authorities described as “gathering” in Dar’a, southern Syria.

Authorities said some people have “sneaked” into the gathering and caused chaos and carried out sabotage acts against public and private properties.
