Yemen Thanks Saudi King For Resolving Crisis

Defense Minister Prince Salman has reaffirmed that the Kingdom and Yemen will continue to discuss common interests and strengthen bilateral relations.

Prince Salman made these remarks while receiving Yemeni Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Muhammed Nasir Ahmed Ali and an accompanying delegation at his office yesterday.

During the talks, Saudi and Yemeni officials reviewed current means of cooperation and ways to boost them. They also discussed regional developments and growing bilateral cooperation in various fields. Prince Salman said the ministries of defense in both countries are working to maintain constructive and useful cooperation for the interests of both people and countries.

Ahmed Ali conveyed the greetings of President Abdo Mansour Hadi to the Saudi leadership and people.
He appreciated the efforts exerted by GCC leaders, particularly Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah, who played his part in solving the crisis in Yemen.

Prince Salman later hosted a lunch for the delegation.
