Former England coach Fabio Capello arrived in Moscow on Friday for further talks on his contract with Russia after being named “de facto” coach of the national team.

Capello, 66, will also watch the first round of games in the Russian Premier League this weekend, acting union president Nikita Simonyan told R-Sport on Thursday.

The former Real Madrid coach will watch CSKA Moscow take on FC Rostov on Saturday before watching Zenit St. Petersburg host Amkar Perm a day later.

The Russian Football Union said Thursday that Capello was “de facto” coach despite the contract not being signed and that he would start work at the weekend.
