Man behind Berlin mosque attacks apprehended
By KUNA
Police in the German capital on Saturday announced they arrested Friday night in the neighborhood of Neukoln a German man in his thirties on charges of carrying out a series of attacks against mosques in Berlin, saying he confessed to the attacks.
While police refused to disclose the reasons behind the attacks, a warrant for his arrest has been issued after he admitted committing the crimes.
Mosques in Berlin were in the past months targets for a series of assaults, the most prominent of which was the attack against Ahmadiyya mosque, the oldest in Germany whose doors were set on fire.
