Greece To Stay In Eurozone

By

Greece has made its historical choice and will stay in the Eurozone.

A senior economic aid to Prime Minister Lucas Papademos said on Sunday that the country’s pullout from the Eurozone would send inflation up, wages down, bring many enterprises to ruin and leave the local real estate market badly bruised in what he said would amount to a “strategic defeat.”

The official’s remarks apparently came in response to an earlier statement by German Interior Minister Hans-Peter Friedrich who advised Greece to leave the Eurozone.
