Spain: Inflation At 2.4 Percent

Annual inflation in Spain dropped by 0.5 percent this month to reach 2.4 percent, official figures showed Friday.
December this year is the third consecutive month witnessing yearly inflation drop to register its lowest since November 2010 which it was 2.3 percent, the national statisttics institutue said.
Prices of fuels and lubricants drop while tobacco’s prices maintained levels, it added.
The 2.4-percent inflation rate is higher than previous government’s projections of 1.7 percent.
