Hamas Targeting Of School Bus Exceeds All Limits – Israeli Military

By

The Israeli military said Hamas’ targeting of what it claimed to be a school-bus in Negev area, southern Israel, was a step that exceeded all limits and red-lines.

According to the public Israeli radio, on Friday, the launch of 50 rockets and mortar shells on the Negev Area was considered as an increasing security threat, the highest since Operation Cast Lead which was launched in late 2008 and led to the deaths of 1,500 Palestinians and 13 Israelis.

Two Israeli soldiers were injured as a result of the rocket attacks which occurred today, said the radio, noting that Israel would not stand still in face of the attacks and might take the necessary steps to stop such assaults.

On Israeli countermeasures, a political source said that a decision would be taken next week to deploy more anti-rocket batteries of Israel’s Iron-Dome Defense System.
