Spanish world second seeded Tennis player Rafael Nadal defeated on Sunday Argentina’s Juan Martin del Potro in four sets to secure a fifth Davis Cup tennis title for Spain.

Nadal, the number two ranking in the ATP World Tour rankings, rallied from losing the opening set 6-1 to win 6-4, 6-1, 7-6 (7-0) at the Olympic Stadium in Seville.

“It was the most amazing atmosphere I have ever played in,” Nadal said, adding “the crowd were crazy, everything was perfect.”

Spain only recorded its first success in the competition in 2000, since then the country has won the title five times in its history.
