Lebanon: Nasrallah Changes Hideout After Bin Laden Death

Lebanese sources were on Sunday quoted as saying that «radical changes in the security measures to protect Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hizbullah were carried out, following the killing of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in Pakistan».

A Kuwaiti newspaper quoted Sunday that sources as saying that Nasrallah left his shelter the southern suburb of Beirut,” as well as measures around him have been tightened, for fear of facing the same fate of bin Laden.

The newspaper said that international bodies «looked positively at the possibility of getting rid of Nasrallah after Bin Laden in order to further weakening the global terrorism, especially since the Iranian hegemony in the region is weaker amid the turmoil in the Arab world».

According to the paper, these agencies believe that «removing Nasrallah will bring great benefits to the situation not only in Lebanon but to the entire the Arab world.
