Syria Releases 1,180 Prisoners

Syrian authorities have released 1,180 prisoners who were arrested in connection with the current events in the country.

The freed Syrians had something to do with the happenings in Syria, but they were not involved in killing anybody, Syria’s official news agency (SANA) reported on Tuesday.

Some 553 prisoners had also been set free on November 5th on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
