Syria: At Least 30 Killed In Damascus Blasts
Lebanese Al Manar TV, owned by Hizbullah reported on Friday that at least 30 people were killed and 55 others wounded in two blasts targeting Syrian security offices in Damascus.
State television said suicide bombers in two cars carried out the attacks. Syria was quick to say that Al Qaeda was behind the attacks.
The Syrian television reported that the “two terrorist attacks occurred in Damascus, one targeting the security headquarters and the other one a branch of the security office. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, witnesses heard heavy gunfire exchanges after the blasts.
