US Deputy Homeland Security Secretary’s Visit To Georgia

(Civil.Ge) — U.S. Deputy Homeland Security Secretary Jane Holl Lute, who arrived in Tbilisi late on Tuesday, met with Deputy Secretary of Georgia’s National Security Council Batu Kutelia and Deputy Interior Minister Eka Zguladze on April 25, according to the U.S. embassy in Tbilisi.

It said that the talks “centered on issues of longstanding U.S.-Georgia cooperation.”

Visit of Jane Holl Lute, who is the second-highest official and chief operating officer in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, was part of her ten-day trip, which included stops in India, Japan, and Luxembourg, according to the U.S. embassy.
