Russia’s Medvedev Warns Of ‘World War’ In Syria
If Arab forces enter the Syrian conflict, it could spark a “new world war”, according to Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, reports AFP.
He continued by asking the German business daily Handelsblatt, “The Americans and our Arabic partners must think hard about this: do they want a permanent war? Do they really think they would win such a war very quickly?”
According to AFP, the Russian PM added: “All sides must be forced to the negotiating table instead of sparking a new world war.”
