Mihal Llaqi Jano was born in Fier, Albania. He is a graduate of the “Enver Hoxha” Infantry School of Officers in Tirana, graduating in 1978. He is a retired military officer, historian, and currently a scholar of Albanian archaeology and ethnography. Jano is a former member of Albanian Special Forces and is among the best experts of Albanian National Security Policy and in Human Intelligence Collection.
