Umut Can Adisonmez got his B.A Degree in International Relations and his Minor Degree in History from Bilkent University. Currently, he is a graduate student in Global Studies at Lund University. He is also an editor in the Utrikesperspektiv Magazine of the same university which has been publishing articles on foreign policy since 1935. His research has focused upon globalization and the state, international security agenda and approaches to foreign policy analysis which mainly applied to Turkey with the prominent countries in the Middle East. He is also interested in surveys particularly fielded in the Middle East to determine correlations of securitization notion with the conceptual analysis and theories of power on the key issues such as terrorism and militancy, national and foreign policies pursued by their governments.
