Houston Rockets Offer Jeremy Lin Contract For Next Season – Report

NBA star Jeremy Lin could soon be playing for the Houston Rockets.

Lin, who played with the New York Knicks last year, has accepted contractual terms offered by the Houston Rockets, reports the AP, citing “a person with knowledge of the deal”.

According to the same AP report, Lin could sign the offer sheet with Houston on July 11. The Knicks – who have in the past said they plan to keep Lin – will then have three days to match the offer, the AP said.

According the AP, who cited the anonymous source, the Houston contract could be worth “$10.2 million over the first two seasons and $9.3 million in each of the last two years. The fourth season is a team option.”
