Israeli Warplanes Stage Raids Over Lebanese Villages
By VOR
Israeli warplanes have staged mock raids over villages in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency.
The planes flew low over the market town of Nabatiyeh and its surrounding villages on Sunday.
The Israeli military has declined to comment on the incident.
The reported drills come just one day after Israel’s military shot down a drone that crossed into the country from the Mediterranean Sea.
It remains unclear who launched the drone, but suspicion has fallen on the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.
