GCC, Japan Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Japan on Saturday signed an agreement on strategic cooperation, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.

Prince Abdulaziz Bin Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs signed on behalf of the GCC side, while visiting Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Koichiro Gemba signed for his country.

Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, GCC Secretary General, co-signed the agreement, SPA noted.

Before the signing ceremony, bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan and ways of enhancing them in all fields were reviewed.
