Trump 2.0: The Peace Maker? – OpEd

By

If there is one president of the United States that I would not have voted for, he is Trump. If there is a president of the United States who will advance peace, he is Trump. To be able to do this, he had to be elected. To be elected he had to ride the wave of intolerance, the highest interests of the American oligarchies, the cancellation of human rights won with struggles and sacrifices.

Many of those slogans are wounds inflicted on the progress of the social fabric. They are openings to environmental disasters and climate destruction. Concessions to the regressive wanted by the oligarchies. But the man knows how to contradict himself in an incredible way and therefore there is always the hypothesis of backtracking. Let’s hope in many cases his was only apparently marching forward behind slogans.

To hope so, first of all, it must be said immediately that Trump 2.0. is very different from Trump 1.0. Many will say so, but perhaps only those who would never have voted for him can grasp the real positive differences. Which are simple, elementary, visible. Trump 2.0. is not afraid to establish a peaceful relationship with Russia. And that’s good for the planet. Brzezinski’s heirs who aimed at a progressive circling of NATO around Moscow have played at blowing up the bank. But the bank that could jumped was planetary security. Trump 1.0. was not able to address that issue decisively. Not even popular charisma was enough. In reality, it was actually positive thing for Trump that he was not re-elected four years ago.  He was able to consolidate his slogans, strengthen his national caliber. Today he can send his diplomatic messengers without having to disguise himself.

The lesson for Europe is a great one. In the last four years, Europe has never tried to make the proponents of the Ukrainian war think seriously. It followed without the slightest reflection of its own.  More realistic than the king, Europe had taken up this most unfortunate anti-Russian campaign without the slightest reasoning of its own. A rush to give away billions, to stuff Ukraine with weapons, in fact to promote carnage. Brzezinski, perhaps because of his birth in Poland, was animated by an anti-Russian spirit. The Poles have many reasons for complaints, certainly not least those related to their oppression by the USSR. Terrible indeed, like all the oppression of the USSR to European countries, but a U.S. president’s top security adviser must think like an American. And he didn’t.

Today it is possible that thanks to Trump, USA-Russia relations will be placed on a ground of possible peace. Armed peace, but peace. The world will breathe.

Annie Jacobsen, a very intelligent American journalist, explains in her book “Nuclear War, A Scenario” in the event of a USA-Russia conflict, in just a few hours everything would be destroyed. She explains how this would happen with facts, and with zero emotional style. Total destruction of the human race in a few hours. This is the game that someone irresponsible plays with Russia in the wake of Brzezinski.

We should always remember President John F. Kennedy’s magnificent peace speech – one of the best ever by an American president – when he said we must understand the reasons of our adversaries.

With all due respect to Brzezinski, Russia cannot accept that there are NATO installations a quarter of an hour away from Moscow. So if this madness ends, we should welcome Trump 2.0.
