Hundreds of Israeli police and soldiers and so-called “border guards” were deployed in the city of Jerusalem especially at the entrances to the Old City neighborhoods and set up checkpoints there.

All these actions were taken on the occasion of the 63rd Palestinian Nakba (Catastrophe) Day , which is marked today by the Palestinians in their homeland and the Diaspora.

There are also calls in neighboring Arab countries to organize marches to the borders of Palestine.

The Israeli authorities have warned Palestinian movements of the eruption of a third Palestinian uprising today.

This came amid a Facebook campaign for a revolution in order to implement the Right of Return on this day.
