Moroccan King Arrives In Saudi Arabia For Talks With King Abdullah

Morocco’s King Muhammad arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport here today for talks with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.

He was greeted on arrival at the airport by Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, senior Cabinet members and military officers. He was given an official welcome at the airport.

King Muhammad will discuss ties between his North African nation and Saudi Arabia as well as regional affairs, SPA said, without disclosing the length of the visit.

After Saudi Arabia, the Moroccan leader is scheduled to travel on to Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Jordan, according to a program released by Morocco’s royal court.

The six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council in December announced a $ 5 billion fund for development plans in Jordan and Morocco.
