Egypt: Mubarak In Coma

Egypt’s ousted President Hosni Mubarak has fallen into a coma, his lawyer said on Sunday.

“I was informed about the sudden deterioration in Mubarak’s health and I am now on my way to Sharm el-Sheikh. All that I know so far is that the president is a full coma,” Mubarak’s lawyer Farid el-Deeb told Reuters.

Earlier, a judicial source said that the trial of Mubarak accused in the killings of demonstrators and corrupted gas exports deal to Israel will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh. The source added that the decision to move the trial to Sharm El-Sheikh came after reports of security concerns regarding holding the trial in Cairo .
