Syria: Assad Agrees To Sign Arab Initiative, As 18 Dead
Qatar’s Foreign Minister Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani, on Sunday said Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will sign the Arab initiative to end the crisis in Syria.
This statement comes less than 24 hours after the declaration of the Arab League about its intention to convey the Arab initiative to the Security Council.
Meanwhile, 12 civilians and six soldiers including an officer were killed Sunday in different regions of Syria.
These deaths were the result of shooting incidents at the hands of Syrian security forces and clashes between the army and defectors, reported the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
