Iran: Khamenei Urges Muslims To Remain Vigilant Against Enemy Conspiracies

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has urged the Muslims of the world to remain vigilant against the conspiracies of the enemies of the Muslim world.
“The issues of the Muslim world at the current juncture are unprecedented ones. These developments that have occurred in the Muslim world are peculiar, shocking and determine the course of the Muslim Ummah in the future,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Ayatollah Khamenei described the US and the Israeli regime as the enemies of the Muslim nations and cautioned against committing errors in the analysis and understanding of developments.
The enemies further complicate their plots against Muslims day by day, the Leader warned.
Ayatollah Khamenei added, however, that the enemies have not been able to overcome the resolve of the Muslim Ummah, expressing hope that the Muslim nations and officials would proceed with their proper measures as before.
The Leader stated that a new era has begun and that the Muslim world is experiencing a new situation, which will affect the lives of all nations throughout the globe.
Ayatollah Khamenei also praised the high turnout of the Iranian nation in the massive rallies on the International Quds Day in support of the Palestinian resistance against the Israeli regime.
Ayatollah Khamenei stated that the Iranian nation displayed a “brilliant” move on the International Quds Day on Friday and supported the oppressed Palestinian people and a “fundamental and important” issue of the Muslim world.
“Undoubtedly, this proper and timely move will result in great consequences for the Muslim world,” the Leader said.
The Leader emphasized that the top officials of Muslim countries shoulder heavy responsibilities and expressed hope that they would be able to fulfill their duties.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution also said the arrogant powers are employing the “divide and rule” scheme to sow discord among Muslim nations.
“Therefore, the Muslim government and nations, particularly political and cultural elite, intellectuals as well as theologians must explain the truth for the Muslims,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Describing Zionism as a threat for all humanity, Ayatollah Khamenei said, “While the enemy is trying to sow discord among Muslims by magnifying natural ethnic and religious disagreements…the Islamic Ummah must focus efforts on acting according to Islam and maintaining and strengthening unity and brotherhood and disobedience to the great powers, topped by the US.”
The Leader also described disagreement among Muslim nations as a lethal poison.
“The principal issue of the Muslim world is the issue of al-Quds and the oppressed Palestine which has come to the fore as a result of Islamic Awakening,” Ayatollah Khamenei added.
The Leader stated that all Muslim governments and nations as well as political and cultural elite must be watchful against the dangerous conspiracy of taking attention away from the main issue of Muslims by concentrating them on made-up realities.
Ayatollah Khamenei also pointed to the earthquake tragedy in northwestern Iran and said positive measures have been taken in the quake-stricken areas but it is important to further continue such efforts in the future.
Iranian officials should be able to nullify the negative effects of the event and turn it into a factor for the development and progress of the area, the Leader pointed out.
As a Christian who has read the entire Qur’an cover to cover and very much respect same I would hope that Esteemed Leaders such as Ayatollah Khamenei would urge his followers to show similar to others.
What mainstream Muslims and mainstream Christians, Jews, and others need to do is to cooperate in curbing ALL extremists and their violent ways. Jihadists and the likes of el Qaeda fall into the same league as the “born-agins” e.g. Terry Jones, Michele Bachmann; ALl ought to be recognised for what they are.
