“The Islamic Republic of Iran evaluates the uprising of the Muslim Libyan nation and their rightful demands in line with the other noble movements of the regional nations and due to Islamic awareness, pursuing that country’s developments with serious concern,” said Ramin Mehmanparast, according to ILNA.

“The broadcast news on air raids against the demonstrators and the residential areas that has led to loss of lives of the innocent people has both depressed and astonished the observers,” Mehmanparast was quoted as saying, adding “it is expected at this point that the international organizations would adopt immediate and effective measures to halt such moves,” the Foreign Ministry Spokesman said, according to ILNA.
