Abkhazia Voting Complete


Repeat voting in parliamentary elections in Abkhazia has taken place without incident or violations which could affect the course and outcome of the vote.

At the moment the results of the second round of voting are being processed.

Elections were held in Abkhazia on March 10th. However, of the 35 districts in the country winners were only determined in 13 of them.

In the first round deputies had to achieve a win by obtaining more than half of the votes. In the second they needed a simple majority of votes.
