Syria: UN Human Rights Council Condemns Violence

UN Human rights Council Friday condemned Syria for using violence against protesters.

The draft resolution, which launches an investigation into killing, was approved by by 26 members and opposed by nine countries.

Seven members abstained.

Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain and Angola were absent.
