Clinton To Visit Spain Early July

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will travel to Spain in early July where she will hold talks with Spanish Prime Minister and her Spanish counterpart on a wide range of issues, it was announced late Tuesday.
State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said in a statement that following her travel to Hungary and Lithuania, Clinton will travel to Madrid, Spain, July 1-2.
She indicated that Clinton “will underscore the close partnership and friendship the United States and Spain enjoy, based on shared values and common interests.”
“The Secretary will meet with Spanish President Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero and Foreign Minister Trinidad Jimenez to discuss a range of issues including Afghanistan, North Africa, the Middle East, trade, investment, and the economy,” she added.
