Eurozone “A Burning House With No Exits” – Hague

By

British Foreign Secretary William Hague has called the economic crisis in the Eurozone, “a burning house with no exits” and the one and only European currency, a “historical monument of collective stupidity.” He made these statements in an interview with the British magazine, “the Spectator.”

The British minister said that as a result of the settlement of the debt crisis of countries such as Greece, Italy and Portugal the German people, for example, will be forced to subsidize their entire lives.

Haig’s comments are the most harshly critical of the state of affairs in the Eurozone from any of the current British government ministers.
