India: Three Bombs Hit Mumbai
By Ria Novosti
At least 13 people were killed and 81 people were injured in India’s commercial capital Mumbai on Wednesday by three explosions in the city’s markets, local media reported.
Earlier it was reported that four people were killed and more than 100 injured in the blasts.
The explosions took place in Mumbai’s Dawar and Zaiveri markets. The blasts damaged nearby buildings including the local opera house.
The cause of the explosions has not yet been confirmed.
Mumbai was struck by terrorists in a huge attack on November 26, 2008, when ten terrorists infiltrated the city by sea from Pakistan and attacked local hotels, railway stations and restaurants, killing 166 people over two days.
